Too many people look for an app to do everything and think that the stock Apple apps don’t have the needed horsepower to get big jobs done. I have used Notion, Craft, Evernote and almost every other tool and yet I keep coming back to Apple Notes. Don’t sleep on it. Here are some of the features many people don’t know about. Let me know what you think. What do you use to capture information?

Document Scanning
• Long-press on the Notes app until the submenu appears.
• Select "Scan Documents."
• Scan your document and tap save.

Password-Protect a Note
• Open your note, tap the "..." menu, and choose "Lock."
• Decide whether to use your iPhone’s code or create a custom one (note: forgotten manual codes can’t be recovered).
• Now, Face ID or a code is required to access this note.

Organize with Tags and Set Reminders
• Type a hashtag (#) in your note to create a tag.
• When it turns yellow, the tag is active.
• Go to Folders and swipe down to see all your tags in one place.

Draw, Add Lines, and Collaborate on Sketches
Use the built-in drawing tools to brainstorm ideas or add visuals with friends in real-time.
